I traveled to Los Angeles this last weekend on a feeble attempt to gather a lay of the land before moving down there this summer.

It was similar to this guy's attempt to break dance in the street...entertaining, ridiculous, strange, slightly horrifying... but all in all just great.

As a matter of fact I feel that life's new chapters could be summed up pretty well with those adjectives...I guess the moral of the story is to just keep on dancing through it all ;-)

Took a detour through the Mojave Desert on the way down. We passed through just at sunset resulting in an amazingly colorful evening....
